This week’s award goes to Creemore Springs Premium Lager. Shannen and I were at the Coldplay concert on Friday night at the Corel Centre (which was good – Shannen will review) , and as it was St. Patrick’s Day, beer was required. I had seen on the way up to our seats that a 24 oz was $10.25. Ouch. Nevertheless, I headed down to one of the many canteens to get an overpriced Canadian or Coors Light, and there on tap was Creemore Springs!
I’ve enjoyed Creemore Springs for the past couple of years on tap, and the past 6 months in bottles. It’s usually priced as a regional premium – less than Stella but more than Rickards. All of a sudden, $10.25 wasn’t as painful. Funny how everything’s relative.
Enjoy your OAFe, Creemore!
